Math Practice Test
Are you wondering what to expect on the GED Math test? The GED^{®} Math
Test is divided into two parts and assesses your ability to solve
mathematical problems and interpret charts, tables, and graphs.
The GED^{®} Math
Test is 90 minutes long  45 minutes for each part  and features 80%
multiplechoice questions and 20% constructed answers. Rather than
selecting from multiplechoice answers, constructed
answers require you to label points on a grid or
write answers in a blank.
The content of the GED Math test breaks down as
follows:
 20  30% Number
Operations and Number Sense
 20  30% Measurement and
Geometry
 20  30% Data Analysis,
Statistics, and Probability
 20  30% Algebra, Functions, and
Patterns
It's critical to remember that most people who don't
pass all sections of the GED^{®}
Test on the first try, fail the Math Test. That is, more people fail
the Math Test than any other section of the GED^{®}.
